HYANNIS, Mass. -- Police are searching for a pregnant woman from Nantucket who has been missing for several days.

Hall, who is four months pregnant, vanished last Wednesday after going to Barnstable for a doctor's appointment.

Hall's mother Vivienne Walker said she alerted police after Hall failed to return a phone call Wednesday morning.

Over the weekend, police conducted a five-hour search of the Independence Park area and the woods behind a West Barnstable commuter lot along Route 6.

Walker said she is fearing the worst after Barnstable police reportedly found blood inside a car Hall rented.

"Just for her to call and say ‘Mommy.' Just one word to let me that she's OK, that she can talk to me," Walker said.

Walker said her daughter was a good student in high school and was excited to be a mom. Walker said Hall wants to become a nurse.

Walker said her family is praying Hall makes it home safely.

"I just want to trust God that they will find her," Walker said.
