HYANNIS, Mass. (WHDH) -- People honored our military heroes over Memorial Day weekend.
Troops were in the spotlight for 24 hours in Hyannis. The annual celebration gave people an opportunity to thank the military, as officers stood at attention for 24 hours.
Supplies were also collected for care packages to be sent overseas.
