PROVINCETOWN, Mass. (WHDH) -- The 200-pound bear that has been travelling through Cape Cod was spotted in Provincetown on Wednesday.
Two people reported seeing the bear at the national park. Another man saw him while driving.
"He got right in the middle of the road on the dotted line and just stopped," said Crayne Hurst. "I never thought we'd see a bear in Provincetown."
The bear was seen over the weekend in Orleans.
It's believed the 2-year-old bear swam across Cape Cod Canal over Memorial Day weekend.
Fish and Wildlife officials say they are trying to trap and relocate the bear.
