Norton woman texts friend, 'I'm drunk' before crashing
ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WHDH) -- A Norton woman crashed into another driver after texting a friend, saying she was drunk.
Police said 20-year old Allison Giuva had a blood alcohol level of nearly twice the legal limit, when she crashed into a car in Attleboro.
The two people in that car say they were shocked, when she drove right at them.
"She was on the wrong side of the road so I flashed her my high beams trying to like signal her so she would notice she was on the wrong side of the road. She didn't even notice. She didn't pay attention. She just kept coming,” said victim Brittany Shea.
Both of the people who were hit suffered broken bones.
Their car was totaled in the crash.
