Downed wires on MBTA tracks in Newton

NEWTON, Mass. (WHDH) -- A downed wire near Newton Centre Station has caused power to be shut off at the MBTA station.

Passengers on a trolley near the station were escorted off.

Buses are replacing Green Line service between Reservoir and Riverside.
