LAWRENCE, Mass. (WHDH) -- Police said shots were fired in Lawrence, specifically at a car in what could be a case of road rage.
The suspect vehicle didn't stick around. It took off. Fortunately, no one was injured in this situation.
The two suspects allegedly connected to the shooting were found in Haverhill at a Sunoco station.
Authorities said the shooting could have been the result of road rage. Officers were on the scene searching the suspect’s SUV, even removing a seat. No weapon was ever recovered.
Authorities said the two suspects were transported back to Lawrence where the shooting unfolded.
“It's horrible. I have four children. To know they're doing that in a residential area, it’s unbelievable. With shots fired on school vacation, first day of summer. You know, it's ridiculous,” said.
The suspects have not yet been identified. Police are still investigating.
