SUV crushes cars at a Watertown mall
WATERTOWN, Mass. (WHDH) -- A “bad parking job” at the Watertown Arsenal Mall drew a large crowd, as an SUV was lifted off of two crushed cars.
Investigators said the person behind the wheel was too young to have a license.
“Surprise, shock, craziness. I’m sure they were mad. Didn't know what was going on,” said Matthew, who witnessed the accident aftermath.
Police said an underage driver caused the accident, but what actually occurred is still a mystery.
“It seems like some guy either backed up over some cars or those 2 cars drove in at exactly the same time and took that guys parking spot,” said Dave Millar, who was shocked by the accident.
“It looks like it’s trying to be a monster truck or something ya know?” said Jenny Wrynn.
The driver had to be taken to the hospital and told police he doesn’t remember anything.
