Human remains wash ashore in Winthrop
BOSTON (AP) -- The Suffolk District Attorney's office says investigators have tentatively identified human remains that appear to have washed onshore from Boston Harbor.
The remains were found Thursday night in Winthrop, across from Logan International Airport.
The prosecutor's office said the person's death does not appear to have been the result of a crime. An autopsy is planned and state and Winthrop police are investigating.
No identification was being released Thursday night.
