Car slams into utility pole knocking out power to homes

EAST BRIDGEWATER, Mass. (WHDH) -- A car slammed into a utility pole in East Bridgewater.

The driver was med-flighted to Boston Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.

The pole snapped in half because of the impact. Several houses were left without power

The road will be closed while crews repair the downed power lines.
