Police investigate Portsmouth, NH purse-snatching

PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (WHDH) -- Police in New Hampshire began investigating a purse-snatching at a Portsmouth Market Basket.

Officials said a female suspect got into a physical struggle with a woman whose purse she was trying to steal.

At one point, the contents of the purse spilled out.

At that point, a man swooped in grabbed the wallet then fled the store with the female suspect.

Anyone with information has been asked to call Portsmouth PD.
