CONCORD, N.H. (WHDH) -- A woman was knocked to the ground and severely beaten as masked robbers ransacked her home. She was tied up and terrified during the ordeal that lasted more than half an hour.
This all happened in broad daylight.
The victim has asked not to be identified.
“Kicked my knee out sideways and punched square in the face. I have bruises all up and down,” said the victim, who wishes to not be identified.
The victim said it was 1 p.m. Friday when the two men broke into to her home and violently attacked her.
“All of a sudden two masked men ran in, tackled me, laid n top of me and just started to beat me, 15 to 20 minutes this went on,” she said. “They kept saying ‘keep moving and I’ll kill you, keep moving I’ll kill you, I swear I’ll kill you.’”
Her hands, feet, and mouth were bound with duct tape. The homeowner calls the attack random.
“I gave them all the money I had on me ‘cause I was afraid something worse was gonna happen,” said the victim.
She tried chasing the suspects out her apartment, but was attacked again. Concord police so far haven't made any arrests.
“I’m scared, I’m nervous. I have a lot of emotions,” she said. “You see this stuff on TV and you never think it’ll happen to you.”
A neighbor apparently called 911 thinking the victim was in a domestic violence situation so police were at the apartment complex when the suspects ran off, but were unable to catch them.
