NH couple accused of child abuse didn't show up for court
PLAISTOW, N.H. (WHDH) -- A New Hampshire mother and her boyfriend, accused of injuring the woman's 3-year-old son were due in court Thursday, but they didn’t show up.
Jessica Linscott and Roland Dow were set to be arraigned on witness tampering charges and will face additional charges.
Last November prosecutors said the pair burned Linscott’s 3-year-old son so badly he was temporarily blinded. They went on the run and were eventually caught two weeks later at a Florida theme park.
Linscott appeared in court earlier this month asking a judge, to let her see her son. The judge denied that request.
