NH official says missing girl didn't use mobile
NORTH CONWAY, N.H. (AP) -- One of the lead investigators searching for a missing 15-year-old New Hampshire girl says reports the teenager made a cell phone call at about 6:30 p.m. the day she was last seen are untrue.
Associate Attorney General Jane Young made the comments Tuesday during the daily update on the search for missing Abigail Hernandez of North Conway.
The girl was last seen leaving Kennett High School on Wednesday afternoon. Police say she made it home but was gone when her mother arrived later.
Young said the search for Abigail is continuing and she re-emphasized the plea for anyone with any information about the case to call police.
Several agencies, including the FBI, have been involved in the search by land, water and air.
