ANDOVER, Mass. (WHDH) -- Students at Andover High School are ready for the warm weather. But with another snowstorm on the way and possibly another snow day, many Bay State school districts may have to worry about paying for this year's winter first.
"All these snow days are ridiculous, that fact that they're so late in the year,” said one student.
Andover, like so many school districts, is running through the number of days set aside for snow days.
Andover already used the allotted five for elementary schools and is over with six used at the high school.
The answer to make up the difference is going in for a half day on Good Friday, which was a scheduled day off, or if they can't get enough teachers for that day, everyone will have to come in for a Saturday of school April 27.
"On a Saturday though? Kind of want to sleep in, enjoy myself,” another student said.
While most kids don't like the Saturday school idea, most parents seemed resigned to the possibility.
"They do what they have to do," a parent said.
