Young boy reunited with mother after wandering off
STONEHAM, Mass. (WHDH) -- 7News was on the scene in Stoneham when a lost boy was reunited with his mother.
The five-year-old wandered off around Spot Pond Monday afternoon.
Police said the boy was found alone in the woods.
“Wandered off from his mother...he was found safe and sound,” said Officer Chris Apalakis of the Stoneham Police Department.
“He ran into the woods. His mother went after him. Stoneham PD called us, we came up. By the time we got up here, about ten minutes later, he was already located,” said Officer Gerard McGreal of the Boston Police Department.
Paramedics checked out the boy as a precaution.
