Pregnant woman OK after hit and run crash
LYNN, Mass. (WHDH) -- A pregnant woman was involved in a hit and run crash Thursday night in Lynn.
Someone rear-ended the woman's car and then, before police arrived, took off running.
The woman was hospitalized after the crash but according to friends she is ok and so is her unborn child.
The crash happened at the intersection of Rhodes Avenue and New Park Street. According to witnesses the crash wasn’t more than a fender bender, with one driver wedging his car below the pregnant woman’s car.
"She was totally, uh panicked I ran to the back and got her a chair there. She didn’t look like there was any visible injury but she was wigged out,” Rafael Gutierrez said.
Police believe the man that ran away caused the crash and they are still looking for him.
