Somerville overnight fire determined not suspicious
SOMERVILLE, Mass. (WHDH) -- Fire officials were able to determine that a Somerville fire that tore through a single-family home on Dickinson Street Thursday night was not linked to suspicious fires in the city.
No one was hurt.
“Heavy fire conditions on the second and third floor and fire overlapping the windows and went into an immediate defensive attack,” one fire official said.
There have been at least six suspicious fires in Somerville over the last few months.
The Somerville Fire Chief is urging residents to remain vigilant.
