CONCORD, N.H. -- A pregnant woman in Concord, New Hampshire was the victim of what police are calling a case of road rage.

Police say 22-year-old Carissa Williams took her road rage too far by Tasering Corrine Leclair, who is two months pregnant.

“She was scared to death and all of the sudden the Taser came out,” said Brandon Brandon, victim’s husband.

Her husband says it started along Route 3 in Pembroke, New Hampshire where Leclair was going the speed limit - 35 miles an hour. But according to police, Williams thought it wasn’t fast enough.

“Started yelling at her for going 35 in a 35 mile an hour zone, began to thrown bottles and cans at the car,” said Sgt. John Thomas of the Concord, New Hampshire Police Department.

“She didn’t know why the girl was so mad at her at her. For doing the speed limit?” said Holler.

Investigators say Williams sped up and passed Leclair, but they both ended up getting off 93 North at Exit 14 in Concord, and that’s when Williams allegedly jumped out her car, leaving her 6-month-old baby alone, hopped into Leclair’s car and Tased her.

“She said, ‘Stop! I’m pregnant.’ And the girl pursued going through the door and Tasering her,” said Holler.

The entire attack took place while the victim was on the phone with police.

“It’s disturbing. It is obviously something you don’t hear every day. It is disturbing,” said Thomas.

Leclair and her baby were taken to the hospital to be checked out.

“The baby is fine. Everything is good,” said Holler. “I feel justice is going to be served.”

The suspect was arraigned on Thursday on charges including assault and reckless endangerment of a child. She is being held on $100,000 cash bail.
