Girl Scouts attend math, science workshops

BEDFORD, Mass. -- The Girl Scouts of Massachusetts partnered with Raytheon to engage middle school students in math and science through interactive learning programs.

The event, MathMovesU, was held at Middlesex Community College on Sunday. The day featured workshops led by volunteer women engineers at Raytheon and professors and engineers at the college.

More than 300 girls were invited to attend the event. They got the opportunity to learn about robotic technology and solved puzzles.
