Sketch released in NH attempted kidnapping case

PORTSMOUTH, NH -- Police in New Hampshire released new information Saturday about an attempted kidnapping.
The incident occurred in the middle of the day in a busy parking lot.
The armed suspect allegedly attempted to pull off a carjacking Wednesday afternoon.
Surveillance video outside an Ocean State Job Lot captured the incident.
A woman in a BMW pulled into a parking spot when a man, believed to be in his late teens or early twenties, approached the vehicle and pulled a semi-automatic hand gun on the woman.
The man then told the woman to get back in her car. Investigators said she offered him money but he refused, saying he wanted to leave in the vehicle with her.
She managed to run away as he got into the car.
Police released a sketch of the suspect.
He was described as a light-skinned black male with a round face and baggy clothing. He was wearing a puffy, ripped jacket likely one that was recovered by police in woods near the Gosling Meadows neighborhood.
Police dogs tracked down the jacket there.
Police said the victim was not hurt but it was a very scary incident.
The suspect was still at large Saturday night.
