Mass. man shot to death while visiting family

LAWRENCE, Mass. -- Police say a 29-year-old Fairhaven man was shot to death while visiting family in Lawrence.

Police say at about 1:15 a.m. on Saturday, Johann Miranda got into a verbal altercation outside a food truck that was parked near the city common, and the fight escalated into the shooting.

Police were investigating later Saturday. No further details were immediately available.
