Welker sends video to fan who inspired his 'stache dance

METHUEN -- Wes Welker reached out to his celebration inspiration on Friday, sending a video to the college student who gave him the idea for an end zone dance.
“Jeremy, just wanted to do my impersonation of the milk mustache dance,” Welker said.
Fitchburg State college student Jeremy Weiner got a shout-out from Patriots’ Wes Welker.
“The first word he says is, ‘Jeremy,’ and I was like, ‘Oh my God, he’s making a video to me,’” said Weiner.
“You gave it to me. This was it. Sit there, drink the milk, put the ball down. Sit there, wipe it off, boom. Milk mustache dance,” Welker explained in his video to Weiner.
The dance was an end zone move Weiner brainstormed for the wide receiver, who coincidentally sported a milk mustache in a new ad campaign with Giants wide receiver, Hakeem Nicks.
Weiner couldn’t believe it when he saw Welker’s message on Twitter Friday.
“It’s all like a dream to me. I’m on cloud nine. I can’t believe this. Like, I would never in my whole life expect a player to ever reach out to me like that.
It wasn’t the first celebration the student choreographed for Welker, who used Weiner’s ‘stache dance when the Patriots took down the Broncos. Weiner has even more ideas to offer: a dance for Welker to poke fun at Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz’s salsa.
“Let’s trace out the mustache, hold the mustache ends, and salsa dance while holding the mustache,” said Weiner.
Weiner also has dances up his sleeve for Rob Gronkowski. He said Gronkowski’s brother tweeted his approval.
