HOPKINTON, N.H. (AP) -- New Hampshire state police say they clocked a Vermont man driving 103 miles an hour on Interstate 89.
Police tracking the car's speed noticed that it nearly struck a truck it was attempting to pass Sunday morning in the southbound lane, near Hopkinton.
Police eventually stopped the driver after a brief chase.
The driver, 45-year-old Roland Archambault of Newport, Vt., was charged with aggravated driving under the influence, disobeying a police officer, and other charges.
Also arrested were three passengers from Vermont: 24-year-old Nicholas Brock of Derby, 22-year-old Joshua Staples and 26-year-old Nathan Carter, both of Newport. They were charged with resisting detention.
