Man arrested after chase in NH

MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) -- Police in Manchester, N.H., say a 46-year-old man is facing numerous charges after they say he led them on a chase that ended on Interstate 93 in Salem.
Officers pulled over a car for a motor vehicle violation early Wednesday in Manchester. An officer noticed a passenger had a gun sticking out of his clothing. A struggle ensued as the officer attempted to get the gun.
Police said the driver had been removed from the car when the passenger slid into the driver's seat and took off.
State and local police chased the driver, who eventually abandoned the car. He was later arrested. Police identified him as Charles Colon of Manchester.
Police said they found heroin in his pants and a 9mm handgun inside the car.
