New 'No parking' signs at NH's Hampton Beach

HAMPTON, N.H. (AP) -- New Hampshire's state parks division says new "No parking" signs have gone up near spaces the state leases to private businesses at Hampton Beach.

The signs were put up after beachgoers complained it wasn't clear they couldn't park in those spots and had to deal with some hefty towing costs.

Amy Bassett of the parks division tells the Eagle-Tribune there are no plans to reimburse drivers whose cars were towed in recent weeks.
