NH youth coach charged with sexual assault

CONCORD, N.H. (WHDH) -- A youth baseball and hockey coach was arrested Thursday on charges he sexually assaulted young boys over a long period of time.

Investigators say 58-year-old Robert Joubert had been sexually assaulting boys for nearly a decade.

The investigation started in March in Maine where police say they got a complaint that Joubert was molesting children.

Concord police are working with New Hampshire state police as well as police in York, Maine and FBI. They say Joubert was a youth baseball and hockey coach for 15 years in Concord.

They say between 1995 and 2004, Joubert sexually assaulted a number of victims and that all of them were young boys.

Joubert pleaded not guilty in court Thursday.

He’s being held on $450,000 cash bail.
