Man killed by commuter rail train in Lynn

LYNN, Mass. (AP) -- Authorities say a man walking along the railroad tracks in Lynn has been struck and killed by a commuter train.
An MBTA spokesman says the trespassing man was struck at about 6 a.m. Monday on the Rockport/Newburyport line by an inbound train about a quarter mile after the Lynn station.
The man's name has not been made public.
The death has caused significant delays on the line with some passengers had to be bused between Salem and Lynn. Busing has since ended.
