Tewksbury police arrest Framingham shooting suspect

TEWKSBURY, Mass. (WHDH) -- Police in Tewksbury were called to a Motel 6, working on a tip that a suspect was staying there.

Detectives from both Framingham and Tewksbury were able to arrest the suspect without incident.

A man was shot in the head at point blank range on Saturday.

It happened near Framingham state university.

Police had issued warrants for the suspect's arrest.

The victim has already been released from a local hospital.
