Reward increased to $5,000 in NH graffiti case

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) -- Police in Concord, N.H., have increased a reward to $5,000 leading to an arrest in the case of racist graffiti found on four homes.
Police said all of the homes are occupied by African families. The messages were neatly written in black permanent marker. It's possible that the same person wrote all of the messages, but that has not been confirmed.
The messages told the occupants they were not welcome in the area. Police released samples of the writing and altered the sequence of the words to expose the handwriting without conveying the intended messages.
The original award was $2,000 and was increased by donors, some of them anonymous.
