State police investigate Revere drowning

REVERE, Mass. (AP) -- State police are investigating a drowning in Revere.

Authorities say a 52-year-old man was found floating in the water off Revere Beach shortly before 6 p.m. Tuesday.

He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

State police did not immediately release his name or further details about the drowning.
