Dept. of Health confirms 6th case of EEE in MA

AMESBURY, Mass. (WHDH) -- The Massachusetts Department of Health has confirmed a sixth human case of triple-e in the bay state. It's the second diagnosis so far in Essex County.

The patient is from Amesbury, and as a result, Amesbury’s mayor has issued a ban on evening outdoor activities.

The city will also spray pesticides Thursday.
