1 pulled from water after car plunges into pond

NASHUA, N.H. -- A man was pulled from the water after a car plunged into a pond in Nashua, New Hampshire Thursday night.

The car plunged into a pond off Capitol Street in Nashua at about 5 p.m.

The man who was pulled out was transported to a hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

It was one of two serious car crashes in Nashua Thursday.

In the earlier incident, a car in Nashua ended up underneath a tractor trailer. Police say the driver was trying to change lanes quickly and drove underneath the trailer portion of the truck. 7News was told that driver only had minor injuries.
