NH police say crash closes I-93 in Salem

SALEM, N.H. (AP) -- New Hampshire police said a portion of Interstate 93 was closed in Salem after an early morning crash involving several vehicles.

There were injuries in the 6 a.m. Monday crash, but police say the injuries were not serious.

Both southbound lanes are closed between exits 1 and 2.

WMUR-TV said traffic is being diverted onto routes 97 and 28.

There's no word on when the highway will reopen.
