Soldiers thanked at 'Trees for Troops'

NORTH ANDOVER (WHDH) -- The holiday season is a time for giving and many people want to remember our troops.

Soldiers and their families were invited to Smolak Farms in North Andover for its annual "Trees for Troops".

Those who attended enjoyed Christmas performances, crafts, face painting and were given gift bags and a Christmas tree before leaving.

Sen. Scott Brown made an appearance to thank the troops for their service.
