CONCORD, N.H. (AP) -- A man convicted over two decades ago of rape and sexual assault involving three women -- two of them University of New Hampshire students -- is scheduled for a parole hearing.

Gary Fecteau, originally from Newmarket, had been sentenced to three consecutive prison terms, or at least 26 years. He's served at least 20 years in prison and has been paroled on two of the sentences.

Officials said at a parole hearing in 2009 that Fecteau had done well in the prison's sex-offender treatment program and mentored others.

His hearing was scheduled Thursday.
