Young Maine boy collects hundreds of Toys for Tots

BANGOR, Maine (WHDH) -- In Maine, a pint-sized Santa wants to make sure every child gets a toy for Christmas.
Seven-year-old Brayden Mott took to action last Christmas and collected more than 300 toys to donate to Toys for Tots.
To assist Brayden with his cause this year, the Maine Discovery Museum stepped in, allowing people to drop off toys at the museum.
"There were people homeless and they didn't really have a lot of stuff and I thought they should have some stuff...and then we kept thinking of things,” said Mott.
This year, the second grader is hoping for even more generosity.
He’s looking to collect 2,012 toys - about 6 and a half times more than he got last year!
