BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) -- Police have identified the victim of a house fire in South Burlington.
Authorities say 58-year-old Sally K. Walker was found dead inside the home on Thursday night after a neighbor reported hearing a smoke detector going off. She was the only person in the home at the time.
The cause of death and the fire are being investigated.
