Brawl calls attention to violations at Somerville lounge

SOMERVILLE, Mass. (WHDH) -- The party's over for a nightclub in Somerville.

The Night Games Lounge inside a Holiday Inn was shut down.

A brawl there drew attention when it spilled into the parking lot outside.

Inspectors also found a number of code violations.

The fight on Friday night started inside the hotel.

People eventually ended up fighting in the parking lot.

Police arrested two people in connection with the brawl.

The mayor of Somerville said, "Negative events like the incident at the Holiday Inn last week will not be taken lightly, both, as they relate to public safety, and as for what our community stands for as a whole."
