Pizza delivery driver assaulted, robbed

MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) -- Police say a 65-year-old pizza delivery driver was assaulted and robbed while delivering a pizza to an apartment in Manchester, N.H.

The employee of Santoro's Pizza told police that when he knocked on the front door Thursday night, a man who answered punched him in the face. Police say the driver fell to the ground and the man took the food and the driver's wallet.

WMUR-TV reports that officers checked the address but found that the apartment was vacant. The assailant has not been found.
