Cupcake the cat is currently living at the MSPCA-Nevins Farm adoption center in Methuen, Mass. but is having a decidedly rough go of it. The stress of not having a family, and of living in the shelter, has caused her to scratch her neck to the point where shelter veterinarians have had to medicate her. The staff and volunteers at the adoption center are providing lots of extra love and attention to help her relax—but it’s clear she needs a home.
Cupcake is incredibly friendly and petite adult cat. She is already spade and fully up to date on her vaccinations, so is ready to go home today. Staffers feel she would do best as the only cat in the home. She loves to play with cat nip toys and loves to seek attention and comfort from her human friends.
