NATICK, Mass. (WHDH) -- The group of kids behind this latest YouTube parody of ‘Call Me Maybe,’ are second graders from Lilja Elementary in Natick.
The kids came up with the idea. But their teacher said if the Pats win, you have to write the whole song for homework.
“The last time they won so I'm thinking it could be part of the good luck charm,” said Jessie Bloch, second grade teacher.
"Make sure it's not too fast or too slow and it keeps up with the beat,” said Ella Lopez.
The second graders show their Patriots pride every Friday. So they spent lunch and recess for two weeks coming up with the lyrics. Their teacher Mrs. Bloch posted it on YouTube.
"I just heard it had 3,000 hits, so that's pretty cool,” said Bloch.
"I think a lot of teachers say that they came into teaching to teach kids to be lifelong learners, but I think we're teaching them to be life-long Patriots fans too,” said Bloch.
If Tom Brady was watching tonight, what would they say to him?
"Come to our classroom."
"Win and good luck."
