MSPCA says pup with heart problem needs a home

METHUEN, Mass. (WHDH) -- A surrendered puppy in Methuen has a broken heart, and now the MSPCA is asking for your help.

Kisses -- an adorable poodle-mix puppy -- was dumped at a shelter four months ago.

She was then given to the Animal Medical Center after they discovered she had a serious heart problem.

Doctors say a pricey surgery is needed to save her life.

“She has a bad ticker, but she has a great spirit as we like to say with her. As you can see from her playing, she thinks she’s a normal puppy. Our job is to help fix that issue and find her a home where she will be a wonderful adult dog,” Mike Kieley, Director of Adoption, MSPCA.
