Fired Lawrence schools chief seeks $77K payout
LAWRENCE, Mass. -- Indicted Lawrence superintendent Wilfredo Laboy says he wants the $77,000 in sick and vacation days accumulated before he was fired last week.
The city likely will have to pay up.
His contract says all accrued time will be "paid upon separation of employment."
Laboy pleaded not guilty to charges of fraud and embezzlement.
