Crews battling house fire in Marshfield

MARSHFIELD, Mass. (WHDH) -- Crews battled a 2-alarm house fire on Ames Street in Marshfield.

The fire quickly spread to the attic and second floor of the home.

There was no word if there was anyone in that home when the fire broke out.

Investigators believed the house fire may have been weather related. The blizzard may have loosened the wires in the electric box, creating the underlying cause of the fire.
