FALL RIVER, Mass. (WHDH) -- A police officer on a motorcycle was injured while leading a funeral procession in Fall River on Wednesday.
Police said the officer was riding the motorcycle as part of a funeral procession on Route 24 North. It appears that two other cars were involved in the crash.
Police said the officer was taken to a hospital and is in good condition. Police wouldn’t say if anyone else is injured.
The accident is causing backups in the area of Route 24 and Route 79 in Fall River.
