Quincy teen gets award after saving neighbor

QUINCY, Mass. (WHDH) -- A Quincy teenager was recognized for doing his part to save his neighbor during the blizzard.
Senator Elizabeth Warren presented an award to 16-year-old Dylan Hughes at Quincy City Hall on Monday.
Dylan checked on his 103-year-old neighbor after the blizzard hit earlier in February. The neighbor didn’t have heat and was in need of medical attention.
Rescuers couldn’t get through the snow, so Dylan and his father shoveled a path for them.
Dylan remained humble after receiving the award. He says he wants to pursue a medical career.
