NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (AP) -- The death of a 35-year-old New Bedford woman found in her apartment has been termed suspicious.
A spokesman for the Bristol district attorney's office says Tiffany Ann Durfee was found dead by a relative at about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The body has been handed over to the medical examiner to determine the cause of death.
A neighbor told The Standard-Times that Durfee lived in the apartment with her three children and had moved in less than a year ago.
If the death is ruled a homicide, it would be the city's third this year, and the second in less than a week.
