Duxbury residents get refunds after beach closes
DUXBURY, Mass. (WHDH) -- A Duxbury beach closed because of endangered birds nesting in the area.
The town said it will offer one-time refunds to residents who paid nearly $300 for beach stickers
Some residents said the town failed to disclose the presence of piping plovers in advance.
The beach will be closed until July 7th.
