Suit: Patriots' Hernandez shot man in face in Fla.
UNDATED (WHDH) -- A Connecticut man claimed Aaron Hernandez shot him in the eye.
Alex Bradey said he was with Hernandez and a group of others at Tootsie’s, a strip club in Miami on February 13th.
The civil complaint says, “…while at the club in question, plaintiff and defendant had an argument. Thereafter plaintiff and defendant and two other persons were driving from Miami towards Palm Beach. Defendant had in his possession a gun. The gun discharged.”
In the police report from Riviera Beach, witnesses heard one gunshot a little after seven in the morning and saw a dark SUV driving away. Bradley was found huddled in the fetal position in an alley bleeding heavily from his head and his hand. He told police he didn’t know who shot him.
Doctors said the bullet entered his right temple and went out near his nose, barely missing his brain.
The civil complaint went into his injuries which included “loss of his right eye,” “multiple surgeries…to reconstruct his face,” “plates and screws inserts in the right side of his face,” and “injury to his right dominant hand and arm, requiring surgery.”
The civil complaint also said Hernandez didn’t have a license for the gun he was carrying and he didn’t have any firearms training.
