Hernandez leaves home for 1st time since Wednesday
BOSTON (WHDH) -- Before he arrived in Boston Thursday, 7News caught up with Aaron Hernandez at a gas station in Foxboro.
The 23-year-old Pats player left his house in North Attleboro Thursday morning and then showed up at Gillette Stadium. He ran in through the players entrance but no one would say why he was there and they team had no comment.
An hour later he was back on the road in his white SUV. News helicopters were tracking his every move.
Hernandez has been under scrutiny since police started investigating a possible connection between him and the death of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd, whose body was found not far from Hernandez’s home Monday.
Thursday afternoon he was in Boston at the Prudential Center. His attorneys told 7News he met with them at the offices of Ropes and Gray. They wouldn’t say what they talked about, only that a number of media reports about the case are “false.”
Down in Florida there are more legal issues for the Pats tight end, including a shooting in a strip club in Miami in February. A Connecticut man said Hernandez shot him in the face. He filed a civil lawsuit accusing Hernandez of gross negligence.
Hernandez’s white SUV is parked in a parking garage in Boston Thursday night but his whereabouts remain a mystery.
